Howdy! I am originally from Fayetteville, GA. I moved to Texas in 2013 to attend college at Texas A&M University where I studied Special Education. I learned about the field of speech-language pathology and quickly fell in love. Upon graduation, I earned my masters degree at The University of Texas at Dallas where I discovered my passion for feeding therapy and AAC. I have worked in home health for several years and have experience with private practice. My passion is working with those needing early intervention, feeding therapy, and AAC. Watching a child progress from non-speaking to using sentences, lighting up when they receive their AAC device and finally get to request their favorite toy, or transitioning from tube feeds to finally exploring solids is really why I am passionate about this field.
